Hero of the Winds

I was inspired by The Super Mario Bros movie to imagine what a Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker movie might look like. It was interesting and tough interpreting the very 2d style of Wind Waker into a more 3d feature-animation style. A difficult balance of realism with stylisation without hopefully going to far into the creepy realm that my work tends to do.

I learned a lot on this project. The groom is procedural built with the Blender Geometry Node system. I also learned to put together a rig in Blender for the posing which was way more work than it needed to be. Next time I'll just stick to Mixamo!
